Our Mission

CAN Connect is a youth employability and mentoring platform for young people aged 16 to 24. We help you build the confidence, skills and connections to find work — and to keep it.

We know that looking for work can feel overwhelming, and that not everyone starts from the same place. CAN Connect puts practical support, a mentor and a community in your pocket, alongside the face-to-face programme.

What You Can Do Here

• Work with a mentor — get matched with someone who will support you, set goals with you and check in on your progress
• Build your CV — create and download a professional CV, with AI suggestions to help you word it well
• Get AI job coaching — practise interview questions, write personal statements and get help with applications
• Learn by watching — short videos covering getting job ready, applications, interviews, keeping a job, and LinkedIn
• Find opportunities — browse jobs, apprenticeships and volunteering, and apply using your saved CV
• Join workshops and events — book onto sessions and track what you have attended
• Earn recognition — collect points and badges as you complete your goals and milestones

Support

Progress is easier when you are not doing it alone. Mentors, staff and your peers are all here to help — and asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
